Installation & Replacement of the Finerfilters FF-92C Water Filter.
Push the current filter up in the filter head.
Twist counter-clockwise until the locking head has fully reset.Note: The old filter will try and drop out naturally before the locking mechanism has fully reset. Make sure you keep it held up whilst completing the turn so that the aperture has opened completely.Remove the old filter and discard.Push the new filter up into the locking mechanism and turn clockwise until it clicks into place.Run water through the dispenser into a glass or bucket until the water runs clear.You may see that the water is a little grey or cloudy. This is normal. There will be very fine, loose, powdered carbon in the filter. Once this is flushed out your water will become clear again.Reset your “change filter” light (if your fridge has one).
There may be an indicator light which notifies you when to change your water filter cartridge. This light is simply a timer, which is set manually , and is not linked to the cartridge in any way. If your filter light comes on after 3 months or sooner your filter is still working. Please refer to your fridge manual to alter the settings. The filter cartridge should be replaced when the replacement indicator light turns red, every 6 months, or if you notice a decrease in flow of water. Important: It is essential that operation, maintenance and filter replacement be carried out in accordance with the Manufacturer’s recommended procedures and guidelines for this product to perform as advertised. Failure to do so may void any terms you have with the manufacturer.
