Some Importants Notes

Q1. Cell phones can record, so why do we need a voice recorder?
1. When using a voice recorder, you can avoid the risk of losing important content due to interruptions such as incoming calls or app notifications. It also eliminates the temptation to check notifications or engage in other smartphone activities, allowing you to focus solely on the recording process without interruptions.
2. A screenless voice recorder offers a cleaner design with just one button, making it more convenient and portable for on-the-go recordings compared to devices with screens.
Q2: Why does [SetTime] software sometimes show errors or viruses?
This is a false alarm issued by the [SetTime] software in the security programs of different countries, not a real virus. Therefore, we have updated the software to solve the problem, if you encounter this problem, please let us know and we will give you a new [SetTime] software.
Q3: Can’t record or dead?
1. Do not connect headphones, phones, computer or other devices to the recorder during the recording process, as it will interrupt the recording.
2. Formatting the recorder on a computer is prohibited, as the memory format of the recorder only supports FAT32.
3. If it dies or doesn’t shut down properly, poke the reset hole in the recorder with a pin.
Q4: The charging indicator light doesn’t come on？
1. It’s normal for the recording indicator not to light up while charging.
2. With no recording only charging, the red light blinks when charging, and the blue light stays on for a long time when fully charged.
Q5: The recorder cannot connect to my computer or android phone?
1. Before connecting the recorder to a computer/phone, turn off the dictaphone. When connect, please place it smoothly, do not press any buttons.
2. Try to wait longer: 20 ~ 30 seconds (because the computer system and driver version by itself, the reading of large memory also takes a while)
3. Poke the reset hole with a pin
4. Android Phone: Make sure the OTG function is turned on. [Settings] – Searching for “OTG or USB”, turn on the OTG function)
5. Computer 1) MAC user: please replace the USB-C adapter
2) The computer lacks drivers causing it to not recognize any devices, please Google: download computer drivers
3) Check if the USB DISK identifier appears on my computer. Click “USB Disk Identifier” in the lower right corner of the desktop – [Open Devices and Printers] – [Devices] – right click [HS USB FlashDisk] – [Remove Device] and then connect to the computer.
Q6: How to reduce noise?
1. Place the recorder stably and avoid rubbing it against other objects, such as hands, clothing, etc.
2. Away from sources of noise (e.g. air conditioning, typing, or subtle noise that may be generated by running computers)
3. The recorder and mouth are too close, which may result in bursting sound.
4. If the recording environment is very noise, please understand there will be extra noise in your recording.
Advice: Record in a quiet environment.
